In 2023, SecreTrans provided translation services for the overhaul of the steam turbine in Maersk's ship. The 5,250kW dual pressure condensing steam turbine is produced by Peter Brotherhood and installed in the container ship named "Gudrun" which has a full load displacement of 115,000 tons. Overcoming unfavorable factors such as small cabin space, tight schedule, and multiple parties to coordinate, SecreTrans cooperated with ship managers, contractors, shipyard and freight forwarder to successfully complete the overhaul of steam turbine, including turbine top case opening, clearance measurement, bearing inspection, diaphragm inspection, rotor lifting, NDT, rotor dynamic balancing, reblade, stop valve and governor valve inspection, gearbox opening inspection, reinstallation, and commissioning.
