SecreTrans provided translation of the project feasibility study report, basic design and technical specifications. The project started construction in Nantong on January 26, 2021. It is the first mobile floating gas turbine combined cycle power station in China. It is composed of a floating LNG storage and regasification unit (FSRU) and a 240MW combined cycle natural gas power generation barge. LNG is regasified by FSRU and then transmitted to the power generation barge as power generation fuel. Compared with the traditional marine power generation platform, it has the advantages of high construction efficiency, short production cycle, small area occupation, supplying power for coastal cities or island, or transmitting power to other power consuming areas through network. With the increase of national investment in the field of new energy, the marine mobile floating power generation market has broad prospects in China.
